About

Hi, I'm Leena. I’m UX Researcher & Designer based in Chicago.

My journey to UX began while working in public health and coordinating a redesign of consent aids for stroke treatment.

Recently, I completed my master's in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at DePaul University, where I developed a passion for exploring wayfinding and accessibility. My career transition to UX is deeply informed by my training in sociology and working with patients and community organizations. I aim to leverage my technical skills to create welcoming experiences and support diverse communities.

Outside work, you can find me thrifting for vintage cameras, swimming at the local pool, and trying to find the perfect flavored Kit Kat.

Let’s work together!
